The overall message is most important, especially for pregnant women, because the fetus is even more vulnerable than a baby.
I will add a few comments.
1. Be sure that the mattress is free of flame retardants: polybrominated diphenyl ethers.
4. Try to buy wool carpeting that does not have a soil and stain resistant treatment: such treatments use a toxic perfluorinated chemical.
7. Not all plastics are hazardous. Polyethylene and polypropylene are absolutely safe.
9. It is extremely doubtful that the electromagnetic fields from sources mentioned are hazardous. Scientific studies have discredited the unsubstantiated statement of harm from such electromagnetic fields.

Great post! Some additional points to make: Also pay attention to what your crib is finished with and choose finishes that are non-toxic. Even no-VOC paints can be filled with toxins - choose a non-toxic brand such as Mythic Paint or milk paints. If you choose wool carpeting, make sure the backing is natural as well.
