We should be encouraging organic farms in California to set ourselves apart from the rest of the world. There is a market for it and we can lead the way. Please do not okay this use of carcinogenic methyl iodide on our delicate strawberries.

It is absolutely despicable that this is allowed to even be in question! The health of the nation rests on the farmers hands, if something is found to be detrimental to our health, it should be banned for use in our foods, and there should be a heavy fine for those who ignore it. We have enough problems with avoiding cancer and other diseases without the interference of our food…that’s including everything from pesticides to hormones! Enough is enough!
